The Luxus Group is truly a "Family" business, passionately
and creatively working to fulfill its mission.
We believe that the true value of our company lies in our people and we take great strides to ensure that our team is highly motivated and fully engaged to deliver the best possible experience for our clients.
Stephen founded Luxus in 2007 and through his role as President has been primarily responsible for the vision of the company directly overseeing the growth, brand development, strategy, philanthropic endeavors and corporate culture of the organization. Prior to launching Luxus, Stephen spent 10 years as the President and owner of two retail grocery stores, bringing years of experience and entrepreneurship to this new industry.
Before starting his career, Stephen attended the University of Idaho on a golf scholarship where he pursued a business degree in finance and accounting. During the summer breaks, Stephen remained active by owning and operating two small businesses, laying the foundation for a life of entrepreneurship. It was through this experience Stephen discovered his passion as a business owner, and immediately after school jumped into his career in the retail industry.
Much of the inspiration for Luxus came from Stephen’s family and their personal vacations. Stephen and his wife Carrie are Luxus owners as well, and love to travel with their children Kasha and Allegra to the various destinations. As with other Luxus owners, they believe in the model and are appreciative of the services offered to make their holiday experiences as memorable as possible.
Despite a busy career and family life, Stephen remains active in the community with Luxus acting as the catalyst for charitable giving. Through that vision, Luxus has contributed either directly or through its partners nearly one million dollars in value to charities across Western Canada. This philosophy resonates through the Luxus office and is an important part of the culture of the Partnership.
Don came into the business world at a very young age, and in just a few short years he was owning and managing his own business. Much of his business acumen has come through 30 years of past experiences. His "get it done" attitude makes him a natural leader. Don is open to new ideas, and embraces creative strategies for improving Luxus Vacation Properties.
He enjoys working with family members and passionate co-workers, which has contributed to the success that Luxus Vacation Properties has experienced to date.
Don has contributed graciously to many charitable causes over the years. However, his recent involvement in raising over $60,000 for breast cancer research gave him the opportunity to cycle with Lance Armstrong in a 100km ride through the Canadian Rockies. This was truly an incredible experience for Don, which will never be forgotten.
Aside from cycling, Don enjoys golf and skiing, and definitely appreciates a nice bottle of wine. But above all, he is a family man. One of his most memorable vacations was a birthday celebration at Villa La Estancia in Cabo San Lucas where he was surrounded by family and friends.
Nancy's passion for interior design was introduced at a young age through her own mothers design talents and fashion sense. She has been very fortunate to have worked personally with a number of designers throughout the past 20 years and has always been captivated by their various styles and likes, which has been a consistent source of inspiration for her. As co-founder of The Luxus Group, she makes sure that the properties are incredibly well appointed and appropriate for their specific location.
She is further inspired by the loves of her life - her husband, children and her 4 amazing grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys painting, photography and perusing all things design.
When asked, which of the Luxus properties is her favourite - her answer, she honestly loves them all! Her home away from home can be a chalet in Kimberley, a 1,300 square foot condo in Maui, a villa in Tuscany or a 4,000 square foot home in Palm Springs. It doesn't matter where she goes because there is always so much to enjoy at each location with the same consistencies and comforts of home.
Nancy's family means everything to her and Luxus Vacation Properties gives her the opportunity to not only spend time with them, but to also help other families experience their dream vacations!

After graduating from the University of Alberta with a Business Degree, Danielle wanted to make a big move. Literally. She packed up and moved over 6,000 miles to the other side of the world where she taught English and gained invaluable life experience. Intrigued by travel and making connections with people along the way, Danielle’s next stop was Jasper, where she enjoyed a rewarding career with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts before joining The Luxus Group.
Danielle has enjoyed being part of Luxus since the very beginning, watching it grow into the thriving Partnership and Management Team that it is today. She feels the greatest reward when she hears the stories and memorable moments that Luxus Partners share when they return from their vacations. Danielle’s favorite Luxus destinations include New York, Hawaii and Costa Rica.
A Member of the Rotary Club of Edmonton Glenora, Danielle is very proud to be an Edmontonian. Aside from travelling, she and her husband Jason enjoy anything that involves time spent with family and friends.

Heather loves working for LVP because of their emphasis on family, both in the staff and Owners.
Dan has lived in Alberta for most of his life. As a child, he learned with his father’s guidance how to program small games and applications. At that time, it didn’t occur to him that the passion he was developing for technology could one day develop into a career. Upon graduation, Dan spent several years working in the oil and gas industry before returning to school to study engineering. Quickly into his studies, Dan rediscovered his passion for computers and programming that was instilled at a young age.
In the last decade, Dan has worked in the Edmonton area for a number of local software firms until settling in with Enbridge’s Liquid Pipelines division. The majority of this time was spent building user-friendly business web applications for a wide range of purposes and industries. The Luxus Group will benefit from the fresh perspective that Dan can bring to the technology opportunities that face our company.
In most of his spare time, Dan trains for road cycling competitions and events hosted in Alberta and British Columbia. Both the training and competition takes Dan to new places and locations that he’d normally not visit. Now that he is working for The Luxus Group, he looks forward to returning to some of his favorite cycling destinations in Hawaii, Arizona, and California.

Stacey received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and her Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Alberta. She has built her team and project management skills in a variety of positions – from managing the implementation of health care legislation with the Government of Alberta to developing youth programs and overseeing community engagement programs in the Not-for-Profit world. Most recently Stacey was the Program Director for the Children’s Miracle Network and the Stollery Women’s Network at the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. Creating great partnerships and building opportunities to better their community through service has always been a passion of Stacey’s.
The importance of service was learned from an early age. Growing up the daughter of a high-ranking fighter pilot, service to your county and family were a way of life – no matter where home was and for how long. Family vacations were always spent at the family’s summer home in Ontario’s Cottage Country. This was home base, because as many military kids do, Stacey moved around a lot attending 14 different schools and experiencing life all over the world. With her 13-year old son and dog Reggie, they are finally proud to call Edmonton home – road trips to the mountains, hiking, boarding and skiing is their happy place.
Stacey is excited to be part of this incredible company – from the co-workers and owners – everyone feels like family already! She cannot wait to build long lasting relationships with not only everyone in the office, but the companies, property managers and on-site staff who provide the excellence standard at all our properties on behalf of Luxus Vacation Properties.

It is Nicole’s passion to deliver memorable vacations and ensure that each and every LVP owner is well taken care of.
Nicole enjoys LVP’s family-centered atmosphere. Everyone in the organization, from her co-workers to the Owners, feels like family.
